Bishop William M. Polley, D. Min.
Senior Pastor & Founder
Bishop William M. Polley is the pastor and founder of Zion Christian Assembly. He was born in Middletown, OH and received his education in the Franklin Ohio school system. He further continued his education at The Ohio State University, Aenon Bible College, Muskingum Technical School, Liberty University, Christian Bible College and The International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education, a certificate in HealthCare Management, a Master of Ministry in Christian Counseling and a Doctorate of Ministry.
Bishop Polley accepted the call into the ministry in October 1967 and was ordained into Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. in July, 1971. In July 2003 he founded Zion Christian Assembly. Zion Christian Assembly is an affiliate member of the Greater Emmanuel International Fellowship of America. In July 2005, Bishop Polley was elevated to the Bishopric and in July 2007 he was appointed to the position of Vice Presiding Bishop of the Greater Emmanuel International Fellowship.
Bishop Polley is an active member of the Columbus community justice organization, B.R.E.A.D. (Building Responsibility Equality and Dignity), having served as Co-President for two years and C-CAM (Central Columbus Alliance of Ministers). He also serves as a member of the Mayor’s Religious Advisory Council.
Bishop Polley is married to the former Patricia J. Conley and has two daughters and five grandchildren.
