Who We Are

Statement of Faith

Our creed, discipline, rules of order and doctrine is the Word of God as taught and revealed by the Holy Ghost. We believe the Bible to be the highest inspired Word of God, the infallible Word of God, and that the Bible is the only God-given authority which man possesses. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; St. John 14:26)

We fully believe the mystery and eternity of the Godhead. We believe that Jesus was born both human and divine, and that the Godhead is to be understood to mean all of the fullness of God (Colossians 1:19 & 2:9). We believe that Jesus was Mary’s son and Mary’s God, Creator and creature, God manifest in the flesh; that the flesh of Jesus was the same as ours, with the exception that it had no sin. We believe that Jesus was the Eternal Father made visible.

We believe in salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of Jesus by His death, shedding of blood on the Cross and His resurrection from the dead by which we obtain remission of sins. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12; Romans 5:10; I Corinthians 15:14)

We believe in the necessity of water baptism, by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to fulfill the command of Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:34-38, 10:47-48 & 10:44-46; Galatians 3:14-15)

We believe that “speaking in tongues” as the (Holy) Spirit gives utterance is the initial evidence of the indwelling of the (Holy) Spirit (John 3:8).

We believe in the gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in the scriptures as manifest in the early church (I Corinthians 12:1-14).

We believe in the Spirit filled life, a life separated from the world and the perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of the Christian faith (Ephesians 5:8; II Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14-15).

We believe in the table of the Lord, commonly called “Communion” or the Lord’s Supper for believers (I Corinthians 11:28-32).

We believe in eternal life for believers and eternal punishment for unbelievers (John 3:16 & 5:24; Mark 9:45-48; II Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:10-15).

We believe in the healing of the body of divine power or divine healing in various aspects as practiced in the early church (Acts 4:30; Romans 8:11; I Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14-15)
